Composition instructor

Marco has been an adjunct composition instructor at Roosevelt University since 2009. He usually teaches first-year students and has developed a curriculum that incorporates writing strategies and practices with research and observation. Marco takes an urban studies approach to the class, asking students to research and observe their prior, current and future surroundings with an emphasis on various factors, including transportation, sustainability, fair housing, safety, aesthetics, community and more. His students spend much of the semester writing about their environment with a focused eye on Roosevelt's comittment to teaching social justice.
